Town Invasions
Town Invasions are a recurring PvM event in which a random town is overrun by hostile forces. Defenders must clear waves of Town Invaders and then defeat a Warlord Invader champion to save the town.
Schedule
Town Invasions run every two hours, daily, at every even hour:
- 00:00, 02:00, 04:00, 06:00, 08:00, 10:00, 12:00, 14:00, 16:00, 18:00, 20:00, 22:00 (Eastern time).
- Cadence: every two hours.
- Event duration: one hour. If the Warlord is not defeated within that window, the event ends without rewards.
- Only one Town Invasion is active at a time.
Eligible Towns
When an invasion begins, one of the following towns is chosen at random:
| Town | Map | Top corner | Bottom corner | Z range | Champion type |

The town champion type is recorded for the invasion but the final boss is always the Warlord Invader (see “Final stage” below).
Faction
Each invasion picks one of three invading factions at random: Human, Orc, or Undead. The chosen faction determines the appearance, equipment, and hue of both the trash wave and the Warlord.
Invasion Flow
Start
When the event begins:
- Town guards in the invaded town are disabled for the duration.
- The trash wave spawns inside the town's bounding area.
- A server-wide announcement is broadcast: “Town Invasion: town is under attack! Defend it!” (orange text). The same message is pushed to Discord.
Wave composition
Every invasion, regardless of faction, spawns the same wave:
| Faction | Town Invaders | Warlord Invaders |
|---|---|---|
| Human | 60 | 4 |
| Orc | 60 | 4 |
| Undead | 60 | 4 |
Spawn locations are picked at random inside the town's bounding rectangle. Spawned creatures cannot be tamed.

Warlord defensive behaviour

- Spell retaliation: 2% chance per incoming spell hit (within range 10) to retaliate with a Hell Wave Attack (49 - 80 damage) against the caster.
- Player damage to the Warlord is tracked toward reward distribution.
- On death, a 20% roll drops one of six custom-class spellbooks into the corpse: Cleric, Bard, Druid, Ranger, Rogue, or Archmage Spellbook.
Scoring and Rewards
Kill tracking
Each Town Invader or Warlord Invader you kill is credited to your personal kill count. After each kill you'll see “Town Invasion Kill Count: N”. The current top scorer is the Winner; every tenth kill the leader scores triggers a town-wide announcement: “name is defending town with N kill(s)!”
Boss damage tracking
Once the Warlord spawns, all damage you deal to it is summed for participation rewards. Your share of total boss damage scales your boss damage bonus.
Reward distribution
After the Warlord dies, every participant earns PvM points:
| Reward | PvM Points |
|---|---|
| Base participation | 200 |
| Per Town Invader or Warlord kill | +50 |
| Boss damage bonus (scaled by your share) | up to +300 |
| Winner bonus (top kill count) | +200 |
Rewarded players receive: “Town Invasion: You've received N PvM points for defending town!” The Winner is announced server-wide: “Town Invasion: name led the defense of town!”
If the one-hour duration expires before the Warlord is killed, rewards are not distributed.
End of Event
When the event ends (Warlord defeated or one-hour timer expires):
- All remaining invasion mobs are removed. Controlled or bonded creatures (e.g. bio-pets) are left in place.
- Town guards are re-enabled.
- The town's status returns to “Everything is looking fine at the moment. Travel safe.”
Discord integration
Invasion announcements are also posted to a Discord webhook.
Lore NPC
The Invasion Announcer is a blessed, root-bound, Lich-based NPC titled “the Neighborhood Watch”. It speaks the current invasion status to nearby players (within 3 tiles) and responds to the “news” keyword. Its message updates automatically when an invasion starts and ends.
