Donate
Beyond Sosaria is free to play and paid for out of pocket. Donations go to hosting and development. Each package delivers Sosarian Dollars to the account you name, normally within a few minutes of PayPal confirming the payment while that account is logged in, or as soon as it next logs in.
The name you log in with, not a character name. The Sosarian Dollars go to this account.

The package goes to the account name entered above (not a character name), so check it before you choose. Payments are handled by PayPal; the shard never sees your card details.
What the money does
Server hosting and the domain, first. What is left goes into development: new dungeons and bosses, events, and the custom systems listed on the wiki.
Donating is never required to play. Every system on the shard is open to everyone.
Questions
How quickly do the Sosarian Dollars arrive?
Usually within 2 to 5 minutes of PayPal confirming the payment, while the account is logged in; otherwise as soon as it next logs in. Logged in and nothing after 10 minutes? Contact a staff member in game or on Discord with your PayPal receipt.
What payment methods work?
Anything PayPal accepts: credit and debit cards, PayPal balance, and bank transfer where available. You do not need a PayPal account.
Are donations refundable?
In general, no, since they go straight to running costs. If something went wrong technically, contact staff and it will be put right.
Can I donate for another account?
Yes. Enter whichever account name should receive the Sosarian Dollars in the Account name box above the packages. You can donate as many times as you like, for as many accounts as you like.
